Direct Spaces Release Notes 1.9
To ensure your users are benefiting from the newest features, enhancements, and fixes, EMS Software recommends that you upgrade to the most current release of your EMS product.
You now need the .NET Framework 4.8 on the application server.
You only need the latest downloads for any component since they are cumulative.

New Features
- We introduced a new reservation user experience. It’s configured and turned off by default. To enable our new user experience, contact your consultant or account manager. (App version 2.6.0 required)
- New workflow to create a reservation.
- Less taps and prompts to create a reservation.
- Improved room search filters.
- Enhanced favorites filter.
- You can now use our Browse People feature on the Home screen to create a reservation based on one or more coworker's reservation details and book from a calendar or floorplan .
- Intents are available directly on the Home screen. It’s configured. To enable it, contact your consultant or account manager.
Enhancements
- If you change an existing booking’s location, the building defaults to your previous selection.
- Create a reservation based on calendar availability. You can also see attendees you added and calendar details.
Improvements & Issues Fixed
- If you never used favorite rooms and try to add a new favorite for the first time, you no longer get an error.
